The Ritchey WCS ErgoMax Handlebar is designed to provide excellent control and comfort while cycling on loose terrain. This handlebar is particularly suitable for gravel bikes, as it places the hands in a wider, more stable position when in the drops.
Ritchey has a rich history of handlebar design and development, which is reflected in the modern demands of the discerning rider. The ErgoMax is also perfect for endurance road bikes, delivering unparalleled comfort through its ergonomic design.
The bar tops have a 10mm rise at the clamping area, offering a slightly more upright riding position, and are then ovalized with a slight 4-degree rearward sweep to distribute the weight of the rider's hands and wrists more evenly, providing a more natural position.
The ErgoMax also features drops with a 12-degree flare to keep the rider's hands in a comfortable and confident position while adding more stability when turning or sprinting.
The Ritchey ErgoMax handlebar is made of triple-butted 7050 alloy and is available in 400mm, 420mm, 440mm, and 460mm widths. It has a 128mm drop, 73mm reach, 12° drop flare, 3° flare out, and 5° back sweep, with a 31.8mm clamp and accessory mount diameter. It is not compatible with C260 and clip-on accessories, but is compatible with Shimano EW-RS910 junction box.
