Inner tube size guide
Start with the size printed on your tyre sidewall. The ETRTO code, such as 37-622, is the most reliable match: the first number is tyre width in millimetres and the second is rim diameter. Then choose an inner tube whose size range includes that ETRTO and whose valve matches your rim.
Presta valves are narrow and common on road, gravel and performance bikes. Schrader valves are wider, like car valves, and are common on many city, MTB, kids and utility bikes. If your rim has a narrow valve hole, do not force a Schrader valve into it.
A tube can fit several tyre widths, but it must cover your tyre's printed range. For example, a tube marked for 700x35–43C is not the right choice for a much narrower road tyre or a wide 29x2.25 MTB tyre. Wide 24 inch tyres need the same care: compare the 24x3 / 76-507 guide before choosing a 24x2.60/3.00 tube.
Send us the tyre marking, wheel size and valve type before ordering. For puncture prevention, also compare tyre protection and repair products and solid / puncture-resistant tyre options.
If the tyre says 14 inch, 22 inch or an old French size, use the closest tube hub first, then confirm the ETRTO range printed on the tube box. Useful routes include 14 inch tubes, 22 inch tubes and the 400x35A / 37-340 guide.
The rim diameter is the anchor: 650B and 27.5 tyres use ETRTO 584, while many 29er tyres use 622. For wide 650B/27.5 routes, compare the 650x52B / 52-584 guide before choosing a 40–62 mm tube range.
Commercial tyre searches such as 28x2 / 50-622, 24x3 / 76-507 or 400x35A often lead to a tube purchase. Read the size guide first when the old sidewall is unclear, then return to this category for the matching valve and range.
Popular size routes: 16 inch, 100-406 fat bike tubes, 24 inch, 24x3 / 76-507 tyres, 26 inch, 650 tubes and all inner tubes.
Read the tyre size guideMatch the tyre sidewall ETRTO first, then choose a tube whose printed size range includes that marking.
Yes. Many tubes cover a range of widths, but the rim diameter and width range still need to match your tyre.
Choose the valve type that matches your rim and pump: Presta for narrow valve holes, Schrader for wider car-type valve holes.
