26 inch tube fit guide

Match 26 inch inner tubes by ETRTO family, width and valve

A 26 inch tube search can mean several rim families. Most MTB and hybrid tyres use 559 mm, but older 650A / 650B / 650C markings can also appear on tube boxes. Match the tyre's ETRTO diameter and width range before choosing Presta or Schrader.

559 is the common MTB route

Many 26x1.50, 26x1.75, 26x2.00 and 26x2.35 tyres use ETRTO 559. The tube must cover both the 559 mm diameter and the tyre width printed before the dash.

Old 650 labels need care

Some tubes list 559-597 coverage, but that does not make every old 26 inch tyre interchangeable. If the tyre says 650x35A, 37-590 or 26x1 3/8, compare the 590 mm guide before ordering.

Valve and use case

Match the valve hole before checkout. For utility or frequent punctures, compare self-sealing tubes and protection products after confirming the size.
